bbq chickpea pizza

Pizza // Mains // 6-8 servings

Pizza sauce, or tomato paste

1 can (~400g) chickpeas, drained and rinsed

¼ cup bbq sauce

Desired additional toppings (For example: sliced capsicum, zucchini, mushroom)

Grated cheese

Preheat oven to 220°C bake.

Cut baking paper to the same size as a baking tray. Place tray in the oven to preheat (this will ensure a crisp base).

Place baking paper on a clean bench and roll out dough on top until it is the same size as the baking paper. Fold in edges of dough by 1cm (1/2 inch) to form a raised border.

Spread pizza sauce over your rolled/stretched out base.

In a small bowl, mix chickpeas and bbq sauce together.

Top pizza with chickpeas, additional toppings, and cheese.

Bake until base is cooked to your liking (up to 30min).
