  • Splash of oil

  • 2 heaped teaspoons minced garlic (Jarred)

  • Chopped vegetables, such as capsicum or zucchini (Optional)

  • 2 teaspoons cumin

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1 vegetable stock cube

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste

  • 2 cans (~400g) chopped tomatoes

  • 4 cans (~400g) of beans, drained and rinsed (A mixture of types, for examples: 2x kidney beans, 2x black beans))

Fry garlic, optional vegetables, spices, stock cube, and paste together for a few minutes.

Add tomatoes and beans, bring to a gentle boil. Then reduce to a simmer. Simmer until sauce is thickened, and beans are hot.

Uses: Have with corn chips as nachos, or in baked potatoes, on toast, and more
