  • 3/4 cup whole rolled oats (chopped lightly in food processor)

  • 3/4 cup iron enriched cornflakes (chopped lightly in food processor)

  • 1/8 cup ground flaxseed

  • 1/8 cup dried apricots (chopped real small)

  • 1/8 cup mixed nuts (chopped real small)

  • 1/8 cup dark chocolate (chopped real small)

  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter

  • 25ml coconut oil

  • 25ml black strap molasses

Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Add peanut butter, coconut oil and molasses in a small mixing bowl. Warm in microwave until melted. Mix together.

Pour peanut butter mixture over dry ingredients and mix until evenly combined.

Press the mix into a lined 20cm square pan.

Chill until firm, then cut into 4 rows of 4 squares.

Store in the fridge or freezer.
